The pioneers of the industry, they practically invented the FPS genre, and then continued to improve it over and over again. With each new engine came a new game or universe to explore. One of the oldest gaming companies that still produces leading edge technology with every new engine they create. And some of the most licensed engines in the whole of the gaming community.
With this Bargain Bin Breakdown I’m doing things a little differently. Instead of giving each of these games their own reviews, I’m piling them up into one nice super review. I’m going to be playing all of the old ID classics; Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3-D, Doom, Doom II, and Quake. I’m also going to finish it off with a little surprise I dug up.
